WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM POST STUDY WORK VISA?
- 2 years post-study, work visa for first degree and masters graduates in which time they are allowed to work at any skill level without needing support from employers.
- Longer time or extended period in the UK for graduates.
- 3 years post study work visa for PhD students aimed at making the labour market more appealing for PhD holders and improve research output in the country.
WHICH OTHER COUNTRY OFFERS POST STUDY WORK PERMIT?
AUSTRALIA – Students are given 18 months for graduate work and 2-3 years for post study work.
IRELAND – Bachelor graduates can stay for 6 months while Masters or PhD graduates can get a 24-month visa.
GERMANY – 18 months is given to secure a job after which one applies for permanent residency.
Others include; Canada, New Zealand, The United States Of America, Barbados, Dominica, and so on.
