Get started with the MPNP Online Application

If you meet the eligibility criteria published on the MPNP website, you’ll submit an MPNP application for our consideration using our digital (web) application system, MPNP Online.

In your application, you want to provide personal, education, language, and work-related information and documents also as an MPNP Settlement Plan.

The MPNP will assess your application supported by how well the documents you provide demonstrate that you simply meet the program criteria, and your ability and intention to successfully
establish in Manitoba as an economic immigrant and settle within the province as a permanent resident.

If the MPNP nominates you, you want to then submit a separate application to Citizenship and Immigration

All applicants to the MPNP who are applying as Skilled Workers Overseas must demonstrate a longtime connection to Manitoba either through the support of relations or friends, through previous education or work experience within the province, or through a call for participation to use received directly from the MPNP as a part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. > ready to provide documents proving they reside and are established in Manitoba and are living within the province continuously for a minimum of one year (ex: copy of Manitoba Health Card)

> A Canadian citizen or permanent resident (ex: copy of Permanent Resident Card)

Close relatives may support the application of one trained worker at a time provided they satisfactorily demonstrate their ability to try to do so.

For
friends and distant relatives, their household must not be currently
supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee, or person
under another Canadian immigration program.

Finally, for your supporter, the MPNP won’t accept a Settlement Plan Part 2 signed by:

• a paid immigration representative
• anyone who isn’t a demonstrated relative or friend of the applicant or the applicant’s spouse
• a Canadian official or their staff

Familial relationships

To be considered an in-depth relative, a Manitoba Sponsor must be associated with the applicant (or the applicant’s spouse) in one among the subsequent ways:
> sister or brother

> niece or nephew (ex: child of your sister or brother)

> aunt or uncle (ex: brother or sister of your mother or father)

> cousin (ex: child of your aunt or uncle)

> mother or father

> grandmother or grandfather

Can children support their parents in MPNP?

No. Children living in Manitoba cannot work or be supported through Manitoba Supporter for his or her parents’ MPNP application. 

Can Canadians or Permanent Residents support an MPNP application for his/her spouse?
