The pandemic and restrictions caused by Coronavirus (Covid-19) all over the globe should not discourage immigration
candidates from still going ahead to prepare themselves and preparing their
Visa applications.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
continues to update on the Canada immigration coronavirus guidelines.
Further, IRCC and several provinces have stated they will not reject
applications if candidates provide an explanation that their application
is incomplete because of COVID-19 interruptions.
While Canada has imposed travel restrictions, candidates are still
welcome to submit Express Entry profiles as well as their permanent and
temporary residence applications.
Canada continues to hold Express Entry
draws and issue invitations to apply for permanent residence. Canada is
also being more flexible in processing applications by providing
candidates with more time to obtain and submit their documentation in
case candidates are being affected by COVID-19 disruptions.
